Myths and Legends of China by Werner - This is a good collection of folktakes and myths from China, and a decent introduction for anyone interested in getting an overview of Chinese mythology. There are a couple points readers should be wary of however. First, it's a bit outdated. It was written in 1922, and much of our understanding of Chinese civilization and mythology has changed since then, very dramatically in some areas.
